Greenseas goes FAD-Free

Greenseas takes further steps towards sustainably caught tuna

Greenseas has taken a further step towards sustainably caught tuna by committing to source 100% of our tuna from FAD-free fishing methods by the end of 2015.  Reducing the use of FADs will help maintain healthy stocks of overfished species like Yellowfin and Bigeye tunas.  Greenseas will also continue to provide financial support for scientific research through the Oceanic Fisheries Programme (OFP) of the Secretariat of the Pacific Community.
